Adam Foster is a fictional character featured on the CBS television series Supergirl. Played by actor Blake Jenner, he was introduced in episode 1x11, "Strange Visitor from Another Planet". He also appeared in the follow-up episode, "Bizarro".
Adam Foster was the first son of Cat Grant. At the time of his birth, Cat was too focused on developing her career to raise a child, so she gave him up for adoption. She continued to send money to him for many years, but never had any real contact with him. When Adam was in his twenties, he received a letter purportedly from his mother, asking to reconnect. He traveled out to National City, but soon found that it was actually Cat's personal assistant, Kara Danvers who had written the letter. Adam actually found himself attracted to Kara, and the two even went on a couple of dates together.
