Christy is a dynamic and multi-talented star. Her career began at six years old with several national tours of Broadway musicals such as Annie, The Will Rogers Follies and the Sound of Music. She made her feature film debut at the age of 12 in Woody Allen’s Everyone Say I Love You.

Heading West to Hollywood, Christy was the first person to star in three Disney projects simultaneously. Supplementing her work on the series Even Stevens, where she co-starred with Shia LaBeouf, Christy starred in Disney’s Cadet Kelly, alongside Hiary Duff, and voice acted as the title animated character in Kim Possible, for which Christy received a Daytime Emmy nomination.

On February 17, 2004, Christy began a 31-week run playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. She left the production after raising ticket attendance from 30 to 99%.

Christy recently completed three feature films, Loosies (IFC), Mirrors II (20th Century Fox), and Infected (Universal) while continuing her BA at Columbia University with a double major in Film and Women’s Studies.

Christy recently branched off to directing, launching her own production company. She also penned a novel, Grace’s Turn, published by Hyperion, which received accolades from the New York Public Library as the 2007 Teenage Book of the Year.

With respect to her support of the troops, Christy received the GI Film Festival’s coveted GI Spirit Award during GI Film Festival Los Angeles in 2012 due to her work as a leading member of the Ambassadors of Hollywood Support Tour. Christy is known for extensive travel through Afghanistan in support of the U.S. Armed Forces. Previous GI Spirit Award recipients include Gary Sinise, Jon Voight, Joe Mantegna and Lou Diamond Phillips, among many distinguished recipients.
