Biography Edit

Basch, first name unknown, was a police inspector for the Gotham City Police Department. He worked alongside Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara. In 1966, the police department investigated a bombing incident at the Gotham City World's Fair. Loathe to involve themselves in anything outside of conventional crimes, they resolved themselves to contacting the Batman for aid. Inspector Basch was equally stymied by clues left behind by the Ridder and resented his inability to solve the case. [1]
