Cameron Mitchell is a fictional military commander featured in the Stargate film and television franchise. Played by actor Ben Browder, he was introduced in the Stargate SG-1 season 9 episode premiere "Avalon (Part 1)". He appeared in every episode in seasons 9 and 10, totaling 40 appearances. Ben Browder reprised the role of Cameron Mitchell for the 2008 direct-to-video films Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum. Outside of the TV series and movies, Lieutenant Colonel Cameron Mitchell also appeared in the Stargate: Daniel Jackson comic book limited series by Dynamite Entertainment as well as the Stargate: Vala Mal Doran limited series.

- The character of Cameron Mitchell was created by director Andy Mikita and writers Robert C. Cooper and Brad Wright, based on concepts originally developed by Wright and Jonathan Glassner.
- Actor Ben Browder is also known for playing the role of John Crichton on the 1999-2003 sci-fi television series Farscape. When it was announced that Browder would be joining the cast of Stargate SG-1 along with Claudia Black, fans began referring to the show as "Fargate", a wink to their previous work together on Farscape.
- Actor Maximillian Uhrin played a young Cameron Mitchell in a flashback scene from the season 9 episode "Collateral Damage".
- Ben Browder was nominated for a Saturn Award in the category "Best Supporting Actor on Television" in 2006 for his portrayal of Lieutenant Colonel Cameron Mitchell.
