Cameron Phillips is the human name given to a model of Terminator of an unspecified design and model. Members of the human resistance from the year 2027 programmed the gynoid to travel back in time to the year 1999 to protect John Connor. As Skynet was aware of John's activities in this era, the Terminator relied upon time travel technology to bring itself, John Connor and his mother, Sarah Connor to the future year of 2007.
