Canton is an American city located in the continental US state of Ohio. It is in Stark County and is part of the the Canton-Massillon Metropolitan area. Canton was first founded in 1805. It became a village in 1815 and was incorporated as a city in 1845. Actor Jon Lormer was born in Canton on May 7th, 1906. Actor Eddie McClintock from the science fiction series Warehouse 13 was born in North Canton on May 27th, 1967.
