Jarvin

Jarvin was a human member of the Maquis and a member of the crew commanded by Chakotay. Along with the rest of Chakotay's people, Jarvin was captured by the Federation Starfleet vessel USS Voyager NCC-74656, and forced to become a member of the crew after Voyager was cast into the Delta Quadrant. Most of the Maquis members were fiercely loyal to Chakotay. When tensions began to escalate between their comrade, B'Elanna Torres, and a Starfleet engineer named Joe Carey, Jarvin and another Maquis member named Seska told Chakotay that they had his full support should he decide to take control of the ship. To both of their surprise, Chakotay was quite offended by this, and told them that if he ever heard such talk again, he would throw them in the brig for mutiny.
