"For Tonight We Might Die" is the first episode of season one of the British science fiction television series Class, and the first episode of the series overall. It was directed by Edward Bazalgette with a script written by Patrick Ness. It first aired on BBC One in the United Kingdom on January 9th, 2017. It first aired in the United States on on BBC America on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 at 10:00 pm. In this episode, a violent alien race known as the Shadow Kin begins targeting students at Coal Hill Academy. Two new faces at the school include teacher Miss Quill, and a student named Charlie. In truth, Charlie is the Prince of the planet Rhodia, and Miss Quill (Andra'ath) is a war criminal who is enslaved to the Prince's servitude as punishment. Without revealing their true natures, they must find a way to root out the Shadow Kin. Such a task cannot be done alone however, and they call upon the aid of a particular Time Lord of some renown.
