Connecticut is a state within the continental United States. It is located in New England in the northeastern region of the country. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, and New York to the west and the south. It's capital city is Hartford. Other major cities include Bridgeport, Greenwich, New Haven and Stamford.

Television showrunner Dan Curtis was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on March 27th, 1927. Curtis is known for creating the 1960s Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows.

Actor Dylan McDermott was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on October 26th, 1961. He is best known for his work on TV shows such as The Practice, Big Shots, Dark Blue and American Horror Story.
