|Aliases:||Captain David Singh|
David Singh is a fictional law-enforcement officer and a supporting character on the CW Network live-action superhero fantasy TV series The Flash. Played by actor Patrick Sabongui, he first appeared in the pilot episode of the series.
David Singh is the captain of the Central City Police Department. He is a practical no-nonsense man, with very little patience when it comes to tomfoolery or tardiness. Singh believes prizes expediency and effectiveness over all other matters. Despite his sometimes gruff demeanor, Singh takes into consideration all of the concerns of those who work under him, particularly Detectives Joe West and Eddie Thawne. He gets noticeably irritated when it comes to CSI scientist Barry Allen however and often finds himself chastising Allen over some matter or another.
