Derek Martinus is a British television director and actor born in April of 1931. One of his more notable works are his contributions to the Doctor Who TV series, which includes the serials "The Tenth Planet" in 1966, "The Evil of the Daleks" in 1967, "The Ice Warriors" in 1967 and "Spearhead from Space", his final work on the series.
Derek's first credited television work was playing a character named Greg Ross in the "Lean Liberty" episode of ITV Play of the Week, dated June 26th, 1962. His next acting work was in 1964 when he played Mister Cox in "The Case of the Lazy Eye" episode of Boyd Q.C..
