Eben Kent is a fictional elderly man and a minor character featured in the 1950s syndicated superhero-action series The Adventures of Superman. Played by actor Tom Fadden, he appeared in the premiere episode of the series, "Superman on Earth".
While Eben was out on a car trip with his wife one day, they came across an alien rocket. Hearing screams of a baby inside, Eben put himself in risk, to get the baby out of the burning rocket. Eben and his wife decided to raise the boy as their own.
For the next twenty-five years, the Kents were a happy family, until Eben's heart finally gave out and he passed away.
