Points of Interest[]

Epping
Epping is a market town and civil parish in the Epping Forest district of the County of Essex, England. It is located three miles northeast of Loughton, five miles south of Harlow and eleven miles northwest of Brentwood. Epping has a total land area of 7.73 km2 and a population of more than 11,000 people. On the original 1960s British science fiction television series Doctor Who, Epping was the town where the Third Doctor first emerged after going through the regeneration cycle. The experience was quite a shock to the Doctor's system and he collapsed upon the ground, whereupon he was taken to nearby Ashbridge Cottage Hospital. When UNIT administrator Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart learned about this, he went to the hospital, but did not immediately recognize the Doctor in his new form. [1]
