Grimm is an American television series of the supernatural fantasy subgenre. It was created by Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt and produced by Hazy Mills Productions. It began airing on NBC on October 28th, 2011. Grimm stars David Giuntoli as Nick Burkhardt, a homicide detective who moves to Portland, Oregon where he discovers that he is the last in a long family line of monster hunters - the Grimm. After discovering the truth about his family heritage from his aunt, Detective Burkhart develops the ability to perceive supernatural creatures in their true form. The creatures are known as the Wesen.
