Biography[]
Harry was a young man who frequented the Blue Whale in the after-work hours when things really began to pick up. He was friends with two other men named Mike and Steve. One evening in 1966, Harry was enjoying the juke box music and dancing with a pretty blonde-haired girl named Carolyn Stoddard. Carolyn's uptight boyfriend, Joe Haskell, did not appreciate the way she was flirting with the other men in the pub and tried to get her to stop. Harry and Joe nearly came to blows, but Carolyn separated them, assuring Joe that she only wanted one more dance. Mike then decided to cut in, and when Haskell intervened a second time, things got physical. Mike and Joe tossed each other about after which, Harry tackled him. Another patron, Burke Devlin, interceded this time, warning Harry to back off.
Notes & Trivia[]
- The character of Harry was created by director Lela Swift and writer/story developer Art Wallace based on concepts originally developed by Dan Curtis.
- It is possible that Harry might actually be Harry Jones, a taxicab driver that is referenced by Mister Wells in episode 1. That character however was not actually seen in the series.
- Is a smoker. Harry can be seen pocketing a pack of cigarettes after settling down from his fight with Joe.
