Heather Lindsay North (born December 13, 1950 in Pasadena, California) is an American television and voice actress. She is most notable as having performed the Daphne Blake in all incarnations of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo Saturday morning cartoon series from 1970 to 1979, 1983 to 1997, and from 2002 to 2003. North was the second actress to voice Daphne; Indira Stefanianna Christopherson voiced the character during the first season of Scooby-Doo, Where are You! in 1969. She was the regular voice actress of Daphne until 1997, when she voiced Daphne in the Johnny Bravo crossover special. She would briefly return to the series for the 2003 direct-to-video movies Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire, and Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico. In 1971, she starred with Kurt Russell and Raffles the Chimpanzee in Walt Disney's Barefoot Executive. North is married to Wes Kenney, producer of the NBC Daytime drama Days Of Our Lives. North appeared in such live television shows as Days of our Lives, Green Acres, The Monkees, The Fugitive and My Three Sons.
