Henry Allen is a fictional supporting character featured in programs of the superhero fantasy genre. He is associated with The Flash franchise. The first television version of Henry Allen appeared in the two-part pilot episode where he was played by actor M. Emmet Walsh. Another version of the character appeared in the 2014 The Flash TV series on the CW Network. In this series, the role was played by actor John Wesley Shipp.

Henry Allen was the husband of Nora Allen and the father of Barry Allen. He was wrongfully accused of murdering his wife and spent fifteen years in prison. It wasn't until the true murderer, the futuristic speedster, Eobard Thawne, left a videotape confession that Henry was finally exonerated.
