Joseph "Jeph" Loeb, III is an American screenwriter and comic book author born in Stamford, Connecticut on January 29th, 1958. In addition to his numerous contributions to comic related fare, such as the Superman family of titles.

From 2006 to 2009, Jeph Loeb served as a co-executive producer on the NBC serise Heroes. The show drew heavily from the world of comic books, but centered more on character development and less on flashy costumes or showy powers.

Jeph Loeb is also the co-writer of the 1985 comedy film Teen Wolf, starring Family Ties actor Michael J. Fox. The movie was re-interpreted as a television series in 2011 by MTV and Loeb served as co-writer on the first episode along with fellow movie scribe Matthew Weisman.
