Katie was a young girl during the mid 1970s. She was one of the students of Jaime Sommers at Ventura Air Force Base in California. Katie helped out an animal trainer named Susan Victor, and assisted her in helping a lion named Neil adapt to life on a preserve. (Bionic Woman: Claws) Katie was often seen in the company of another student named Teddy. Both Katie and Teddy were aware of Jaime's relationship with Colonel Steve Austin. Once, while out looking at the stars, Katie whimsically asked Jaime if Colonel Austin and she would ever get married. (Bionic Woman: The Deadly Missiles)
