Biography[]

Leon Gurney and his twin brother David Gurney opened up the Fun Universe amusement park in Washington, D.C.. It was a dream of theirs to create a fun park with the most sophisticated and popular rides one could imagine. Leon was the main architect behind the rides, in particular the Super Loop, which was the park's most popular roller coaster.

Leon Gurney went off to fight in Vietnam. While on a mission, the helicopter he was in was hit with napalm, horribly disfiguring him. Leon returned to the United States and began living out of a secret underground tunnel beneath the park. He discovered a man named Pierce who had planted a bomb concealed in a toolbox in the park and Leon retrieved it, bringing it back to his hidden laboratory. Leon also discovered a teenage orphan boy named Randy who had the misfortune of discovering Leon's hideout and was trapped underground.
