"Merry Gentlemen" is the eleventh episode of the television drama series Lucas Tanner and the eleventh episode of the series overall. It was directed by Walter Doniger. The episode first aired on NBC on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25th, 1974.

  • Actress Anne Schedeen, who plays a flight attendant named Carolyn in this episode, will go on to take the surname of Tanner herself as Kate Tanner on the 1980s comedy series ALF.
  • This is the first professional television acting for work for Dee Wallace. Wallace is best known for her work in films such as E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial, The Hills Have Eyes and Cujo, got her start in television on Lucas Tanner.
