Notable Roles: Nathan Drake (Uncharted), The Penguin (Batman: Arkham City), Smokescreen (Transformers Prime), Deadpool, Desmond Miles (Assassin’s Creed), Conner Kent (Young Justice), Nolan North (Saints Row IV).

There was a time when it felt like Nolan North’s voice was in everything. His perfomance as smart ass explorer Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series made him a darling to many video game fans around the world and we couldn’t get enough of him.  He popped up in Deadpool, Assassin’s Creed, and even played himself as the role of the boss in Saints Row IV. Even if you didn’t know it, you were probably listening to North’s voice in something you were playing or watching.

North has had a few on screen appearances, most notably a long stint in General Hospital, as well bit parts in CSI: Miami and Pretty Little Liars, but perhaps his biggest (and arguably smallest) role yet was in the sequel to J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot, Star Trek: Into Darkness. Oh, you didn’t notice him in it? That’s because Sherlock and Kirk burst in and blow him up as soon as he’s on screen and just delivered his only line of ‘Power coming online, sir.’ It’s okay though; he was a bridge officer on the U.S.S. Vengeance, who were the bad guys, so he deserved it. But rarely has just one line made fan boys and girls the world over scream in delight.
