Taylor Kitsch is a Canadian film and television actor born in Kelowna in British Columbia, Canada on April 8th, 1981. He is best known for playing the role of Tim Riggins on the 2006-2011 NBC drama series Friday Night Lights.

Taylor's first credited television work was playing a young man named Colm in the "Flipping Switches" episode of the TV series Godiva's. In 2006 he played a bit role as a male camper in the pilot episode of the teen drama series Kyle XY.

  • In 2009 Taylor played the role of Remy Lebeau, aka, Gambit in the feature film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The role is based on a character featured in The X-Men family of comics by Marvel Comics. Gambit also appeared in the 1992-1997 X-Men animated series where he was voiced by Chris Potter.
  • In 2012 Taylor took the lead as the titular hero John Carter in Disney's sci-fi production John Carter, based on the pulp novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs.
