The Blacklist is an American television program of the crime drama genre. The series was created by Jon Bokenkamp produced by Davis Entertainment, Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television. It began airing on Monday evenings at 10:00 pm on September 23rd, 2013. The show stars James Spader as Raymond Reddington, Megan Boone as Elizabeth Scott Keen, Diego Klattenhoff as Donald Ressler, Ryan Eggold as Tom Keen, Parminder Nagra as Meera Malik and Harry Lennix as Harold Cooper.

The premise of the show focuses on Raymond Reddington - a known fugitive and information broker who has been on the FBI's most wanted list for two decades. Reddington turns himself in and offers to help the FBI catch the world's most dangerous international criminals - men who comprise Reddington's personal "blacklist". In exchange, Reddington demands certain amenities from the feds, not the least of which includes close contact with neophyte agent Elizabeth Keen.
